Latest Photos of 2012 1-Series

Out of the 117 photos of the 1-series that BMW sent me, I have finally narrowed them down to these 12! It was tough, but I felt that these were the best. I chose to show images of the sport model, simply because I find it better looking than the 'standard' model.

Although I personally like the styling of the new model, I fear that the major criticism towards this model will be its lack of change in terms of exterior design, from its predecessor. For me, not much change is necessary because the original model was a very fresh design and only minor changes are what's needed.

Judging by the interior photographs, it has had a much needed re-vamp. Like the second generation MINI, this new model seems to have an improved interior much more suitable to its price-tag. Although the satellite navigation and leather upholestry are optional extra's, the interior seems to be of a higher standard and the layout more ergonomic and functional. However, whether the improvements in the interior will be reflected in the cost of the car, like the way it did in the R54 MINI, remains to be seen.

As for the exterior, the most noticeable changes are in the front lights and rear of the car. The rear lights are also modified, as can be seen nicely in the photographs.

Due to formatting reasons, I will include the remainder of the photographs in the post below.
